Nature-based Programs Project Information Session and Micro-Grant Q & A

We are pleased to announce that, with financial support from the Levante Foundation, the OACAO is launching a year-long demonstration project that offers SALCs and older adult centres across the province an opportunity to introduce new and/or to revitalize existing outdoor programs for their members.

This demonstration project will provide up to $1,000 each for 10 centres to create new and or revitalize current outdoor programs. What we collectively learn through these 10 projects will help us to develop tools and resources to create awareness about the benefits of nature-based programs, including ways for centres to integrate more nature-based programs to benefit the health and wellbeing of their members. We are excited to announce a contest to select the 10 projects to be funded.
