Generating support from the corporate sector has been extraordinarily difficult for most organizations during the pandemic.  Yet as times are slowly returning to normal, opportunities to engage prospective corporate donors are slowly emerging.  By participating in this seminar, you will learn how your organization can build effective long-term relationships with businesses and companies that will strengthen all facets of your programs and services

Presenter: Mike Paquet, People First Fundraising

For 26 years, Mike has worked with a range of grassroots and community-based charities and organizations to establish long-term fundraising plans that encompass a diverse assortment of fundraising methods and are supported by a solid infrastructure. A graduate of the University of Windsor, Mike started People First Resource Development in 2006 (renamed People First Fundraising Solutions in 2017), a fundraising consulting firm that specializes in helping small- and medium-sized charities to develop viable fundraising solutions.  Among the organizations who have benefitted from People First's guidance and services are Habitat for Humanity Brampton, the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness, Neighbour-to-Neighbour Hamilton, Downsview Services for Seniors, The Church of the Epiphany Woodstock, Community Living Dufferin and the Delhi Community Health Centre.
